Yello! My name is Dylan Blake and presently I’m a senior at Waukegan High School and plan to pursue photography in my future. I am going to attempt never show my face in photography because I would rather have my name associated with great pictures rather than an image of myself. I love taking photos because I feel every picture tells a story sometimes the photographer doesn’t even know the story of the subject they are shooting, but that is besides the fact. I find photographer both fascinating and exciting because photographs capture a moment in time that will never again be repeated, yet at the same time photographs allow you to look back at that moment in time. As of the moment I have been really into photography for less than half a year, but I feel I have improved greatly in the brief time I have been shooting. At the moment, all of my photography is being shot with an Olympus D-580 since it is the only camera. I hope this blog will help me to continue to improve my photography and meet my future goals.
